however, the economic collapse of the whole country didn't left istra untouched. devastated industry remnants and abandoned coal mines are everywhere around. postcard-like picture of globin is badly ruined by high chimneys and silos of cement factory chemix, privatized and restructured socialist pride of the whole area - the factory of asbestos fibers tav.
the town on the hill and the factory in the valley are connected by intertwined mixture of secrets, mutual accusations and suspicions. seven asbestos-related deaths, long after tav stopped producing asbestos, are not only the heavy burden to small local community. they are a ticking time bomb that reaches to the very tops of the state and could jeopardize many.
